Ayton過去11場比賽因為右膝肌腱炎缺席，而今日賽前拓荒者總教練Chauncey Billups說Ayton傷勢康復可以出賽，但他還沒有到球場之中；本賽季Ayton只出賽24場比賽，場均13.1分、10.8籃板，平均得分是生涯新低。
