暴龍前陣子透過交易換進換回RJ Barrett和Immanuel Quickley，今日兩位前尼克球員也回到麥迪遜花園廣場進行比賽，無論是進場介紹還是播放致敬影片時都受到球迷熱烈歡迎。
Quickley說：「感覺很棒，但我們沒有達到我們想要的結果，當然是要帶著贏球回家，可以看到大家，這邊是我職業生涯的起點，有球迷還是一直與我噴垃圾話，這些都非常酷。」

Quickley還說：「和朋友們競爭總是很有意思，我在場上時有很多不同的情緒。這裡的人們尊重我，對我很好，我很感謝。總教練肯定會讓球員們在我擋拆時讓我難受。交易讓兩支球隊都得到了他們想要的，我很高興能為一支需要我的球隊效力。」

從他今入暴龍之後，也從尼克隊場均15分，進步到過去10場在暴龍隊先發場均18分，賽後他也被問到如何與球隊建立化學效應，他說：「就像是遇見新的女孩，你必須要花時間認識他，帶他出去吃飯、玩等等的，你不可能就是跟她出去然後說：『我們結婚吧』這是不會發生的事。」
