根據記者Brett Siegel消息，快艇隊有意交易走兩名目前得不到上場機會的P.J. Tucker、Bones Hyland，換回可以上場的球員，邁阿密是被提及的球隊，但熱火目前薪資空間不夠換進Tucker的1100萬合約。

Tucker目前認知到自己在快艇得不到上場時間，自己也有在尋找下家，不過熱火就如上述所提沒有足夠的薪資空間換進，再加上日前又換了Rozier，薪資空間更加擁擠，目前熱火正在思考如何處理uncan Robinson和Caleb Martin的合約。
另外也有一篇報導特別提到交易Tucker的問題，但不是球團薪資問題，是Tucker的球鞋問題，Tucker是著名的鞋頭，擁有數千雙球鞋，就連在球團內也擁有許多不一樣可以實戰的球鞋。
報導寫下快艇在接收七六人的交易包裹時，順便要幫Tucker清出可以放250雙球鞋的空間，還也要同時幫Tucker寄出這些球鞋。
