根據太陽隊、籃網隊官方記者多方消息來源，太陽隊目前正在爭取交易換回Royce O'Neale，而太陽的包裹大多數消息都為Nassir Little，加上兩枚的二輪籤。

但市場上不只有太陽一隊正在爭取O’Neale，共有九支球隊在爭奪戰之中，騎士因為Donovan Mitchell有與O’Neale合作過的經驗，加上排名東區前三位置，有意繼續補強球隊的深度

其他球隊爭取O’Neale包括了：火箭、湖人、獨行俠、金塊、國王、溜馬、公鹿
