今天在例行賽拿到西區第一的雷霆隊，在今天的選秀會上選擇塞爾維亞後衛Nikola Topic，不過這個選擇引發許多熱議，Nikola Topic在日前因為十字韌帶撕裂，導致他在未來的幾個月都沒有辦法出賽。

而且就算可以出賽，Nikola Topic的球風也和雷霆隊日前交易出去的Josh Giddey有些類似，都是以持球為主，傳球都有一定的判斷能力，但是Topic比起Giddey體型還要瘦小，防守未來可能會有點吃力。

在今天選秀完的記者會，記者們就訪問到雷霆總管Sam Presti，談到為何選進Topic，Presti說：「我們的預期是他不會為球隊在明年出賽。」

“Our expectation is that he probably won’t be playing for us next season,” Presti said of Nikola Topic, who’s rehabbing an ACL injury.

明年的Topic依然會隨隊雷霆，並持續在隊上復健，可能會依循Chet Holmgren的模式先休息第一個賽季，Presti也表示有看過Topić的膝蓋問題，確定沒有太大問題才決定選下Topić。
