根據《The Athletic》報導，Mac McClung已與奧蘭多魔術隊簽下部分保障的正式合約，但主要這還是一份訓練營合約，若沒有進到開季名單裡面，可以直接下放到魔術隊所屬的發展聯盟球隊。

Mac McClung今年25歲，曾獲得G聯盟MVP，並也因連續兩屆全明星扣籃大賽冠軍而廣為人知，不只是灌籃的表現讓他繼續待在發展聯盟球隊。

McClung上賽季效力於魔術的G聯盟球隊，場均得到25.7分、4.7個籃板和6.6次助攻。目前魔術隊的15人大名單已滿，但他仍有機會透過雙向合約回歸NBA，魔術隊還有兩格雙向合約名額。
